WHY ABSORPTION COOLING ???

Absorption Chillers Utilise low Grade Heat Energy such as steam/hot water/exhaust gases from DG Sets/Turbines/Industrial Processes/direct fired options to generate the chilling effect. Absorption Chillers use water as the refrigerant which is completely CFC Free. VAMs have negligible moving parts-hence negligible maintainance. Are Noiseless and Vibration Free.

Lithium Bromide (LiBr) has the property to absorb water due to its chemical affinity. At higher concentration and lower temperature LiBr absorbs water vapour (refrigerant vapour) very effectively.
