CHI SQUARE METHOD

Chi-square is a statistical test commonly used to compare observed data with data we would expect to obtain according to a specific hypothesis.

= (36-25)^2/25 + (14-25)^2/25 = 4.84 + 4.84 = 9.68

Degree of freedom and level of significance

Degree of Freedom = n-1 Degree of Freedom = 2-1 =1 Level of Significance 5% Critical Value(table value) of Chi Square = 3.841

Conclusion..
Since the calculated value > table value

i.e.9.68 > 3.841 So, Ho is rejected. and H1 is accepted.

Therefore, People prefer Private Bank services than Nationalised Banks.

According to our survey private banks are better in

their services but now a days nationalized banks are also ready to face the challenges given by private banks. Due to their professional approach and customer oriented approach Private Banks services outpaced those of Nationalized Banks
