PROBLEMS & SOLUTIONS ASSOCIATED IN INFORMATION MANGEMENT

Problem number 1: Multilingual System

INTRODUCTION TO MLS

The Multilingual System presents a functional overview of the MLS environment. This environment provides access to internalization features, which enable you to create and run application systems that are localized to display and process data for a particular language, culture or line of business.

MLS are not centralized

Multilingual System refers to computer programs which permit user interaction with computers in one or more languages, where the language can be selected dynamically.

Problem Number 2 Social Engineering

-A social engineering attack is usually conducted by an

outsider who will use a variety of psychological tricks on a computer user to get the information they need in order to access a computer or network. Do not get confused with the concept "outsider." While the true outside hackers get the

headlines, the far more prevalent form of social engineering in

conducted by one employee on another employee. The goal of social engineer is to trick someone into giving them what they

want.

Solutions
-Policies, procedures and standards are an important part of an overall anti-social engineering campaign.

-Since there is neither hardware nor software available to

protect an enterprise against social engineering, it is essential that good practices be implemented.
