Selling Your Skills Effectively

Teaching
Teaching is a very respectable and dignified profession.

The future of a student depends upon the teacher.

The whole education system depends upon the teacher's skills, attitudes and qualifications.

Teachers should be educated, skilled and trained to impart the same to the students.

The teachers are known to be very skilled people.

The teachers possess high skills and abilities.

The students get to learn the real meaning of the education only through the teaching skills and patterns of the teachers.

Selling of the teaching skills imply the imparting of the teaching skills to the opposite person, the students.

What skills should a teacher sell?

TEACHER

ADAPTABILITY
Adapt to varied roles, jobs responsibilities, schedules and context Work effectively in a climate of ambiguity and changing priorities

FLEXIBILITY

Deal positively with praise, setbacks and criticism Understand, negotiate and balance diverse views and beliefs to reach workable solutions, particularly in multi-cultural environments

INITIATIVE & SELF-DIRECTION


Utilize time, manage goals and workload efficiently Monitor, define, prioritize and complete tasks without direct oversight Demonstrate initiative to advance skill levels towards a professional level Demonstrate commitment to learning as a lifelong process

LEADERSHIP
