Project Management
Major Responsibility: Planning the activities for Tunnel construction and track construction. Assigning the work to the Team and coordinating with them and allocating the resources. Finalize the train designs. As consortium of ten companies (five French and five British) was formed and Project manager has to coordinate the digging of three tunnels. Identifying Technical & Functional Problems To see whether project will complete on time.

Line Management
Line manager has to coordinate with Project manager for all operational work To manage the construction work with team i.e. checking and managing all equipments needed for construction. Checking the security arrangements during digging and construction and also fire breaks so detection systems and the procedures for dealing with an outbreak.

Complexity of the project


The importance of complexity to the project management process is widely acknowledged, for example: Project complexity helps determine planning, coordination and control requirements. Complexity is an important criteria in the selection of an appropriate project organizational form.
