Microorganisms are tiny living things that cannot be seen with naked eyes.

They only can be seen using microscope or a magnifying glass.They can be found in air,water,soil,food and in the human body.Microorganisms exist in various shapes and sizes.They need water,air,nutrients,suitable acidity and suitable temperature from to grow.

Bacteria
Bacteria is one of the microorganisms.Bacteria exist in various shapes and sizes.Bacteria live in dark,warm,damp and dirty places.Bacteria reproduces if they get enough food and nutrients .Bacteria is also the third largest microorganism.

Protozoa
Protozoa is found in lakes, ponds and rivers.Protozoa which are larger than virus and bacteria live in water or damp places.They reproduce by multiplying using their cells.

Fungi
The fungi is the largest microorganism.Some fungi such as mould and yeast live un soil,garbage,food and on other living things.Some of them can be seen using magnifying glass.Fungi reproduce by producing spores.

Virus
Viruses are the tiniest microorganisms.They can only be seen under a special microscope called an electron microscope.Virus can harm humans,plants and animals.They feed on living organisms.They are also called as the most dangerous microorganisms.

tempeh Bacteria are very useful for making fertilisers.They break down dead plants and animals and other organic matters to form fertilisers Fungi and bacteria also can be used to produced antibiotics Bacteria are also used to produce alcoholic drinks

Harmful microorganisms are microorganisms that have negative

effects on our health The effects of microorganisms: -Cause illness -Cause food poisoning -Cause food to turn bad -Cause tooth decay

-The ways to prevent contagious diseases: -Drinking boiled water -Covering and treating wounds -Covering food -Staying away from sick patients -Do not sharing personal items such as comb and towel -Quarantine people who have contagious diseases -Covering mouth or nose when sneezing or coughing -Washing hands with soaps
