We plan to launch a service company which will act as a bridge between the consumer and the retailers for free home delivery.

Our business locations will be highly populated areas of major cities. We will start with a single location in West Delhi (Paschim Vihar) and then expand to other parts within the city. We will offer time bound delivery promise to our customers. We will work from a rented place and setup a telecommunication centre for receiving orders.

We will have a marketing and sales team which will work in the field and explain to our customers about this concept. We will own the cycle, rickshaws and auto rickshaws . As business expands, we will store inventory on behalf of our retail clients. We plan to launch our business in tier-1 cities initially and then expand to tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

Opportunity for such service is huge. There is no direct competition in this field at present. Our services will be a win-win situation.

The number of calls has to be managed efficiently Big retailers like Big Bazaar could also launch their own similar services. The store owners which are our major customers may not agree to this concept. If they do not agree, a new concept of low cost Specialized Home Delivery Stores could be launched.

In case of an unfavourable situation following strategies can be adopted:

Liquidation of all the assets at market value. Be acquired by a another player, which can create better value for the business Selling outright, could be another option
