This technology supports structured, on-line learning activities, and provides facilities for assessment and collaboration. The main aim is to assist an intelligent coaching agent in mediating situations in which new knowledge is not effectively assimilated by a distributed group of humans. The key roles of the new analysis engine include Recognizing when students are having trouble learning the new concepts they share with each other Determining why they are having trouble.
