Ensure direct sunlight (and heat) do not enter the air conditioned space. Energy saving in air conditioners by setting the thermostat to 25 deg. C is about 10%. 1 deg. C lowering the temperature setting results in an extra 3% - 4% of power consumption. Save Rs 1/- per hour by setting the thermostat of air conditioner to 25 deg. C.
