Background:
There are many serious problems related to potholes. Current system for reporting & maintaining pothole is very time consuming & complex. To make it easy and convenient we are developing this system.

Objective
The main goal of this system is to report potholes, analyze them (i.e. the depth, severity) and to inform PMC about it with additional details like where the pothole was encountered (ward no, street no etc). Along with automated reporting, the system also allows individual to manually submit the details to PMC using this system. It keeps the track of when the complain was registered and when the actions were taken along with a feedback procedure included. Feedback System.

Mobile Based Pothole Reporting & Maintenance System is a system which would inform PMC about the potholes and would request for necessary actions to avoid further inconvenience. The current system is slow and requires lots of manpower, with the development of this system, it would speed up the procedure by automation.

Market Potential:
System would help PMC to detect potholes and speed up the procedure. The application would be available to normal individual ,so that they can contribute to help PMC to overcome the inconvenience due to potholes.
