By 1986, company had 6 stores in Seattle.

By 1987, outlets opened at Vancouver, British


Columbia, and Chicago, Illinois.

By 1989, there were 46 outlets & roasting 9,10,000

By 1992(IPO), outlets grew to 140. By September 1992, 100 times growth in share price.

In 1996, Opened outlet at Tokyo, Japan. In 1998 , entered UK by acquiring Seattle coffee co. with

83m USD.

In 2002, Switzerland & carried on & on....
