THERE IS JUST SO MUCH WE CAN DO, BUT WHAT WE CAN DO WE WILL DO!!

What did Jesus mean by: I will make you fishers of men He is talking about EVANGELISM!

Intentionally reaching out to the lost using every avenue to try to bring them to the grace of God in Jesus Christ!

Fishers of men refers to

the process of influencing others in such a way that the Christ who lives in Christians and in our message is formed in the lives of other people.
Luke 9:23 And he said to all, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

ITS A PROCESS, NOT JUST AN EVENT! (24/7/52)

As you are going.

Discipling all nations thats what its all about. We are not just to WIN them, we are to DISCIPLE them!

THE GREAT COMMISSION

It was Jesus who made World Evangelism URGENT!

WE ARE NOT JUST TO BAPTIZEM WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DISCIPLEM!!

Luke 14:21 "The servant came back and reported this to his
master. Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, `Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.

GO
Taking the Gospel to the Whole World requires 2 things: 1.Knowing the World to which you must take the Gospel. 2. Knowing the Gospel

BAPTIZE
We must employ the very best methodology to help bring those we meet to display saving faith in Jesus Christ.

God has not called us to produce mere converts He has called us to MAKE DISCIPLES.

TEACH

MAKE DISCIPLES
This is the part of the Commission that is imperative (i. e., a verb of command) GO, TEACH and BAPTIZE are participles.they tell us HOW to carry out the command or commission. THE COMMAND OF THE GREAT COMMISSIONS IS TO MAKE DISCIPLES.

"MAKE DISCIPLES"
In the original text, there is but one verb, "make disciples." "Go," "baptizing," and "teaching" are participles, which means that these activities do not stand alone.

GOING, BAPTIZING and TEACHING

The object of "going" is to "make disciples. The object of "teaching" is to make disciples. THE OBJECT IS DISCIPLE-MAKING

Christ Calls Us To Make Disciples

FIVE things: 1) Go, 2) Teach, 3) Make Disciples, 3) Baptize, 4) Further Teach. Only 1 of these is AN IMPERTIVE VERB.

assignment, further study and come back to class soon. Jesus said: Go, Teach, Make Disciples, Baptize and Further Teach.

The Reason For Going Anywhere, Whether Next Door Or Across The Ocean, Is To Make Disciples!
As in English, so in Greek: participles derive their force from the leading verb. The implications of this are quite significant for our study of Evangelism. The whole thrust of the Great Commission is the discipling of all nations. Disciple-Making through Evangelism is the Churchs complete job description.

NOW ITS TIME FOR BAPTISM!

This seems to have been the way Jesus disciples came into His circle

HOW TO BE SAVED

FAITH (John 8:28; Heb 11:1)

REPENTANCE (Acts 17:30-31)
