People litter because, they

feel no sense of ownership,even though areas such as parks and beaches are public property. They cant be bothered or are too lazy to find a bin. They have no sense of pride in their community.

 Litter consists of waste products that have been disposed improperly,

without.Consent, in an inappropriate location. Litter is trash of any type thrown where it doesn't belong. Litter is defined as any solid waste object(disposable item or object) that can beheld in a person's hand that is left behind or placed in an inappropriate location.Examples: miscellaneous paper, vehicle debris, snack wrapper Because they are too lazy to get up to a bin and throw their litter.
Because ignorant people tend to ruin society.

 Research also

shows that individual under 30are more likely to litter than those who are older. Men are more likely to litter.

 No person shall dump, deposit, drop, throw, discard

or otherwise dispose of litter from any motor vehicle upon any public highway, upon any public or private property or upon or into any river, lake, pond, stream or body of water in this State except as permitted under any of paragraphs (a) through (e) of Section 4. Nor shall any person transport by any means garbage or refuse from any dwelling, residence, place of business, farm or other site to and deposit such material in, around or on top of trash barrels or other receptacles placed along public highways or at roadside rest areas.

There are no advantages of

litter. Litter, in terms of the environment, is a bad thing.Collecting litter and recycling it is a good thing and very advantageous. It saves the worlds natural resources (recycling paper,metal etc), it makes the environment nicer to be in, (no one likes to see piles of rubbish on the beach or in the country side)and it is also better for the wild life further not to be litter around (sea creatures can be harmed by plastic bags in the sea,birds and animals can choke on rubbish they ingest or be trapped in litter such as plastic bottles)

 There are many disadvantages to

littering, you can go to jail because it illegal. Also the world you live in would be a pile of junk thats dead

 You can move the trash so

you wont be lazy to get up. You can also hold on to your trash until you see a trash can.
