Dr. Seuss is known around the world for his children's books, most famously The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and The Lorax. Geisel attended Dartmouth College and graduated in 1925. He was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and wrote for the humor magazine Dartmouth Jack-O-Lantern and eventually became editor-in-chief. While at Dartmouth, he was caught drinking alcohol in his room and was asked to resign from all extracurricular activities. Due to this, he began to sign his work in the humor magazine as Seuss, and after college changed it to Dr. Suess.
Jenny Farrelly
Jenny Farrelly works as the Vice President of Global Communications at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts. She got her B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, and went on to get her M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Her focus was in finance and corporate communication. While attending Dartmouth, Jenny Farrelly wrote several case studies in her classes. One in particular analyzed the Digital Communications at Dell.
Mindy Kaling
Mindy Kaling is most known for her role as Kelly Kapoor on The Office. Many people dont know that she is also a writer and producer for that show as well. She Now she stars in The Mindy Project, which she developed, produces, and writes for as well. Mindy graduated from Dartmouth College in 2001. During her time there she was part of an improvisational comedy group called "The Dog Day Players", and a contributing writer for the Dartmouth Hack-O-Lantern (the college humor magazine).
Tim Schaaff
Tim Schaaff is currently the President of Sony Network Entertainment. Before taking this job, he was the Vice President of Apple. At Sony Schaaff handles the development of Sonys digital services businesses and infrastructure.
Rachel Dratch
Rachel Dratch is most known for her roles on Saturday Night Live and her small parts in 30 Rock. Dratch attended Dartmouth College in 1986, and graduated with a double major in psychology and drama. She was a a member of the improvisational comedy group "Said and Done." After college, Dratch was a member of the mainstage cast of the Second City comedy troupe. During this time, she was awarded the Joseph Jefferson award for Best Actress in a Revue. Here, she worked along side Tina Fey, Scott Adsit, and Adam McKay.
Pat Weaver was an American radio advertising executive, who eventually became the president of NBC. Weaver is most known for creating Today and Tonight Starring Steve Allen (which know features Jay Leno). He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1930. There he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
