Synopsis Writing
A synopsis is a plot summary. Your synopsis needs to be ~500 words. In your synopsis, you NEED to include the following: title, genre, general setting of the film, time & timeframe of the film, and any necessary backstory.

Synopsis Writing
It may help to think of your movie in acts. This is how real screenwriters do it. Most films have an Act I, Act II, and Act III.
In act 1, your major characters are introduced and the plot is set up. Foreshadow the ending. (paragraph 1) In act 2, the suspense/stakes are raised for your character(s). (paragraph 2) In act 3, the plot is resolved. You act 1 foreshadowing should be reflected here. (paragraph 3)

Synopsis Writing
Unlike with the summaries you wrote in your reviews, in a synopsis, it is critical that you explain the ending to your film. Your audience in this case is not potential viewers of your film but potential producers/buyers of your film.
