ABOUT KMAT

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test acronym as KMAT is the management aptitude test for admission to MBA and MCA programs in Karnatakas private colleges. The entrance exam in conducted in different cities in Karnataka. The exam is conducted by the Karnataka private postgraduate colleges association, KPPGCA. Notification for the same is released in the month of April. ELIGIBILITY
Aspiring candidates should have a bachelors degree from any discipline i.e. science, humanities, commerce, computers etc. From any recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects.

EXAM PATTERN

KMAT Exam is an objective type multiple choice question based paper. The KMAT Exam has two patterns based on the paper chosen Pattern for MBA paper only There are 3 sections in MBA paper contain 120 questions. Language Comprehension - 40 Questions Mathematical Skills - 40 Questions Basic Aptitude - 40 questions Pattern for MBA and MCA Combined Paper There are 4 sections in MBA & MCA Combined paper contains 160 questions. Language Skills - 40 questions Mathematical Skills - 40 Questions Basic Aptitude - 40 Questions Logical Reasoning - 40 Questions The duration of the exam is of 3 hrs. The application fee for MBA or MCA is Rs. 500 and to apply for both, it is Rs. 600.

APPLICATION PROCESS

The application form can be obtained from the participating colleges at the cost of Rs. 50/-. The application form can also be downloaded from the official website - http://www.kmatindia.com The duly filled in application form along with a demand draft of Rs. 500/- (for MBA or MCA only) or of Rs. 600/(for both MBA and MCA) drawn in favor of 'KMAT' and payable at Bangalore should reach 'The Secretary - KMAT, Sheshadripuram First Grade College, C. A. Site NO. 26, Yelahanka New Town, Bangalore - 560 064' Desired candidates are required to make a photocopy of the DD and the application form as a proof of acknowledgement.
