1. BRING CHANGE
Current situation Teacher on duty is the only one accountable should any mishaps take place during school hours. Other teachers will simply resist to take any responsibility and would totally divert all responsibility to the duty teacher solely.

Suggestion

All teachers are responsible to


what happened especially related to emergency cases concerning pupils safety.

HM should create a general


emergency response procedure that must be known by ALL teachers.

2. ALIGN STAFF EFFORTS


Current situation Same duties are given to same individual Example: Cikgu Rama has been appointed as Kelab Bilik Guru (KEBIRU) chairman for 5 consecutive years as he is labeled as the most eligible teacher due to his teaching experiences . . Suggestion

Let others to try

should change/replace by yearly basis so that other teachers can exhibit their leadership and management talent as well.

3. BRING CHANGE
Current situation Some teachers are comfortable with the idea of having sleeping student during examination period or T&L, as it is perceived as the ONLY way to have a sense of control over these notorious students. Worst to come, when HM did not take any actions; thus give an implications that this action is accepted.
Suggestion

Subject teacher or discipline


teacher will held daily morning assembly to reminds students not to do so, and promote the significant of learning.

4. FIND RESOURCES FOR THE SCHOOL


Current situation Class teachers are expected to beautify their own class without any school allocation and resources, thus, depends heavily on the teachers motivation and financial willingness to decorate the class. Effect students motivation to learn. Hence deteriorate achievement level. Suggestion

School admin should take

responsibility to perhaps standardized the criteria so as to set a kind of benchmark that promote comfortable learning environment for the pupils.. This could be done by allocating some fund and resources for the class teachers to beautify their classes as according to the standard set.

5. ALIGN STAFF TOGETHER


Current situation Immediate instruction on activity (eg: cleaning activity), no proper activity planning. Suggestion

Planning in advance for each

activity implemented and let all staff aware (and well-informed) to ensure the targeted program objectives could be successfully achieved.

6. CREATE LEADER AMOMG FOLLOWERS


Current situation The HM tend to make decisions by herself without consulting the GPKs for their opinions. Suggestion

Schools decisions must be delegated


among GPKs; they should be given opportunity to decide (through consultation with HM).

Should give room for the staff to


grow/out leash their potentials as leader. HM shouldnt bite more than she could chew. This will in time, put her integrity as leader in jeopardy (as HM will be viewed as being irrational, nonsensical, insensitive leader).

When too much things are given to HM to decide, this will results in latency and chaos due to many red tapes within school organization.

7. EMOTIONALLY ACTIVE
Current situation Favoritism among the teachers. HM will assign difficult task for non-favourite teachers and easy task for favourite teachers.

Suggestion

There supposedly no
favoritism take place

Delegate task based on

teachers expertise. And should be assigned based on the focus to improve the teachers proficiency and skills (not as a burden to them)
