APPLICATIONS: OIL REFINING UCIs Oil Refining Grade Carbons is softer, lighter and has low ash. Due to its high porosity it is used as a catalyst carrier (e.g. Merox) in Petroleum Refineries.

APPLICATIONS: DRUG INDUSTRY

The activated carbon is used to reduce impurities such as color contents or small volume of by-products in the solutions in pharmaceutical, oleo chemicals and other chemical industries. Activated carbon is used to treat poisonings and overdoes following oral ingestion.
