Teaching Methodology

Presentations & Lectures


Knowledge sharing. Power point presentations are shown by the faculties in relation to the chapters to be undertaken. Sometimes presentations are also carried out by students and in detailed discussions carried on by faculties . This is called Seminar or Discussion Method.

Live Videos
Videos in relation to the chapters are shown to make
students more well versed with the topics in practical world.

Videos by experts of the field and other institutions are


shown.

Case Studies
Case studies again in relation to the topics are provided by the faculties. And then discussions are held on the same in relation to the topics of the chapters.

Problem Solving
In classes related to finance, accounts and quantitative techniques, practical sums are being solved by the faculties and methodologies and formulas are taught that way on. Case studies are also provided to the students to build their acumen in this regard.

Live Projects
We also send students on live projects under project training in various organizations, giving them a feel of the real environment This will further help them in their future jobs by providing a base for their actual work.

Sessions on how to increase Employability


We also provide Grooming sessions, Resume preparation and Interview training to our students. We have been carrying out a demo practice for real recruitment procedures by creating a virtual company and placing a placement advertisement and then carrying out the whole recruitment procedure.

Academic and Non-academic Activities

Guest Lecture by Noted Academician on some topic of relevance Guest Lectures by Industry Experts to focus on the recent happening in the industry Industrial Visit have a practical exposure to an industry environment. Organizing Talent Day, Picnic and Cultural Functions to enhance the organizing and leadership skill of the students and also to create a platform to show their hidden talents . Participation In Different competitions held at local and national level.

Industrial Visits to impart the practical knowledge of management. Organizing Debates, Extempore, Group Discussion, Quiz competitions for overall development of the students. Days celebration for the fun and enjoyment. CSR activities as a part of the responsible citizen. Organizing workshops by inviting expert speakers and trainers from the industries.

Academic Curriculum

Schedule of Assignment Submission: Student required to submit 2 sets of Assignments for Internal

assessment within the given date by Centre. Assignment should be Handwritten. No assignment will be taken after the schedule date.

Schedule of Internal Test All the students have to appear for the Internal Test. Internal exams will be held in the mid of January. The carrying of Internal test in the assignment will be of 05 marks.

Criteria of Internal Marks: Total Marks per paper will be of 100. Internal Assessment for each paper will be of 20 Marks per paper. University Exam Marks will be of 80 Marks. Bifurcation of 20 Marks: Attendance: 05 Marks (Above 80%= 05 Marks Flat, Below 80%= Nil) Internal Exam Result: 05 Marks (Average based on your Total Marks) Class participation/Activity Participation: 05 Marks Assignments: 05 Marks

For instance, If a student is registered for one 5-credit course, three 4-credit courses, and one 3- credit course during a term, i.e., for a total of 20 credits, and he secures A, B, B, C, and D grades, respectively, in these courses, his TGPA will be as follows: TGPA = (5x9 + 4x8 + 4x8 + 4x6 + 3x4)/20= 145/20 = 7.25.
