Due list: its importance, preparation and use

Due list is a tool that is used by the front line workers to enlist the name of the beneficiaries who are due for any vaccine (DPT I, II, III or Measles etc.) along with the date of vaccination. Due list is used to mobilize the beneficiaries on vaccination day. Ideally a due list should be prepared before the day of vaccination and should have updated information on beneficiaries till a day before vaccination. (e.g if the day of vaccination is 27th Sep. 2011, then the due list should be prepared on 26th Sep. 2011). The due list should ideally be prepared from the up-to-date MCH register.

Due list: Conti..

The due list format used in Bihar is divided into two halves. 1. The upper half asks about Demographic information (Name, place , person and date)

2. The lower half has 6 columns. The first four columns are filled before the next scheduled RI session and the last 2 columns are filled on the day of vaccination itself.
