FUEL OIL SYSTEM

FUEL OIL UNLOADING SYSTEM The fuel oil station has a receiving header which can unload six nos. oil tankers, A header of 225M length is installed in between two rail tracks. From each rail track 25 nos. of oil tankers can be unloaded at a time. For transferring the LDO from the header to storage tank there are three transfer pumps each of 120m3 /hr. capacity.

STORAGE FACILITIES
Three oil storage tanks of 2,000 m3 capacity each have been installed at the back of the fuel oil pump house. Each tank is provided with immersion type steam heater to keep the oil temp. at around 50 degree C in case of HFO unloading.
