Make Room For The Camels

 We have talked about how important this year is for us. It is a year of transition as we saw last week It is a year of alignment as we saw the week before Today I would like to show you something that might frighten some of you but will challenge all of us as we close out the last half of 2013

 As we pondered the life of Joseph, we saw a man in transition who every time there was a coming release of Gods favor and blessing, he was solving a problem for someone. We, as the church, are here to be a part of the solution to peoples problems. Joseph encouraged Pharaoh to lay up grain for future use. Just think of the implications

 There was a coming famine.

Sociologists claim that law and order is turned to anarchy and mass riots in a society that goes 8 days without food. The people will curse him who withholds grain, But blessing will be on the head of him who sells it. Pro.11:26

 It is one thing NOT to see a coming problem. It can be ignorance, inept leadership, ill-prepared leaders, or ignoble men. But what happens when you see the problem you may even HOLD the answer to the problem, but you dont share it. WHAT DO YOU CALL THAT?

 There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. Pr.11:24 This poverty here is not simply a lack of money. There are worse things than being broke. There is a poverty in the things of God that is the source of ALL poverty. Mt.6:33

 We saw how relationships house our future. Thats why we need to be careful what we say and how we treat those in our lives. You are either going to be fed or be in want depending on what we do with those in our lives.

 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 1 Cor.12:4-7

 We have been given the Body of Christ called the churchwith various spiritual gifts, various ministries, and various motivational energizing's for ONE reason. To PROFIT all. There is not a problem we have that we cant find the answer to somewhere in the house!

 Abraham was getting old and wanted to see his son get a wife from his kindred and NOT the Canaanites where he lived. Gen.24:10-31

The year is 5773 in the Jewish calendar It is 2013 in the civil calendar In the Hebrew it is the year Ayin Gimel It is literally the crossing over The word Gimel is the word for CAMEL Burden bearing beasts, who represent wealth and strength.

 What did Abraham send on the camels? Riches, a dowry Verse 31 again, And he said, Come in, O blessed of the Lord! Why do you stand outside? For I have prepared the house, and a place for the camels.

 This is a TWO-fold plan that everyone of us MUST take heed to:

1.Prepare the house. Jesus is coming GET READY! 2. Make room for the camels(the gifts)
