THE RHYTHM AND THE HUMAN VOICE

 A musical ability prior language. There has been not shortage or speculation about origins of human language. We suspect that some type of spoken language must have developed between 100,000 and 50,000 years ago.

Hindu tradition, language came from Sarasvati, wife of Brahma, creator of the universe. Sarasvati is the goddess of Knowledge. Another myth is about the Kalpa Vriksha Tree or Tree of humanity who had been punished about its the pride.

The Americas
The Aztecs belief maintains that the great flood occurs and only a man Coxcox and a woman, Xochiquetzal, survive, having floated in a piece of bark. They find themselves on land and beget many children who are first born unable to speak and they give a different language for each one such that they cannot understand one another.

Africa
A bantu people of east African origin, have a tale that in the beginning, the peoples of earth knew only one language, but during a severe famine, a madness struck the people, causing them to wander in all directions, jabbering strange words, and this how different languages came out.

THE NATURAL SOURCE (Bow-wow Theory)

 Primitive words stared as imitations of the natural sounds early humans heard around them. (bow-wow Theory). The imitations of sounds were then used to refer to the things associated with the relevant sound (onomatopoeia still exist in our language today: splash, rattle, boom, bang, boing, !) For example, when a bird make the sound coo-coo, it would be called cuckoo.

Original sounds of language may have come from natural cries of emotion such as pain, anger and joy.

 Other primates, such as Gorillas, do not have the same physical characteristics which make the speech possible. Upright teeth in humans (fricative sounds) Intricate lip muscles on humans. Smaller, thicker more muscular tongue. Humans can close off the nose to create more air pressure for sound in the mouth cavity.
