During this fight scenes Tarantino heavily utilised editing tools such as slow motion and long shots in order to show of the fight scenes and effects used throughout the film. Tarantinos film also broke new grounds by using an incredibly strong independent female lead. This was a very modern representation and paved the way for complicated female leads in the years to come.
