Layouts

Magazine Layout
This is the first layout for our magazine. We chose the name Close-Up as it is a term used in the film industry. The front cover includes an interview with the actors in our film PsyCon as well as various sub-stories. Also featured in this layout are the magazine price, date, issue number, barcode and website.

Magazine Layout
This is our second layout for our magazine. Again, we have taken a term used in the film industry, Out-take, as it coincides with the film magazine genre. This layout features a shot from the film where the characters arrive at the main house, which is the main story in the magazine. It also features sub-stories, price, barcode and date.

Poster Layout
This is our first poster layout. It features The film title at the top of the page with a star rating above. The main image is of money covered in blood because it reflects both the genres of crime and horror. The use of Coming Soon helps build the audiences anticipation of the film. Also included in the poster is names of actors and director, billing block, a QR Code, Production companies, certificate rating and a website for the film as these are conventions of a film poster.

Poster Layout
This is our second poster layout. It features the title of the movie at the top of the page with the main image surrounding it. The main image features a shot of the main house in the film at night with the main characters facing it. Below is the release date for the film as well as the names of the actors and billing block which will include production companies, directors and any other information that is needed. All of these are conventions of a film poster.

Final Magazine Layout

This is our chosen magazine layout. We took different aspects of out previous layout to create our final one. We decided to use the masthead Out-take and chose the main image of the characters standing outside the house as this creates synergy with our film poster as we have used the same image. We featured articles on both the film as well as other sub-stories. We also included the price and date above the barcode and included a magazine website at the bottom of the page.

Final Poster Layout

This is our final poster layout. We have taken different aspects of our previous layouts in order to create this one. We kept the film title at the top of the page with the 5 star rating above. He actors names are featured just below the title and the main image features the characters standing outside the house as this creates synergy with our film magazine as we have used the same image. We chose to use Coming Soon as opposed to an actual release date as this helps build the audiences anticipation for the film. We included the name of the director as well as the production companies names Blumhouse Productions and KeyFrame Productions next to the billing block. We also used the QR Code and the certificate rating as well as the films website.
