INTRODUCTION
Developing a device capable of sensing motion of a paralyzed person under observation. Use GSM technology with PIR sensor to alert doctor with motion of a patient. Motion sensing is using PIR sensor(passive infra red sensor) Used components are PIRsensor, PIC microcontroller(PIC16F877A),GSM modem,LCD. Blood pressure is measured using blood pressure sensing unit.

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION PIR sensor-(passive infra red sensor)measures

infrared light radiating from objects. Use in the construction of PIR based motion detectors. Apparent motion is detected when a infrared source with one temperature such as human passes in front of an infrared source with another temperature such as a wall.

Sensor detects the heat from the object passing infront

of it. The object breaks the field with the sensor determined by normal state.

Microcontroller used is PIC16F877A

CMOS FLASH based 8-bit microcontroller. 200ns instruction execution,256 bytes EEPROM data

memory. 2 comparators,8-channel of 10 bit ADC,2 capture /compare/pwm function, Serial port is either 3 wire spi/2 wire i2cbus,a USART, and parallel slave port.

GSM modem is used for calling doctor.

Using DTMF technology. Designed for control signals only.

DTMF tone controlled by AT command

RESULT

RECENT DEVELOPMENT Fabricated 50% of the pcb lay out using orcad software. Studied half of the programme. FUTURE DEVELOPMENT Wiring of circuit and checking the output. Assembling of circuit. Program development. Final Product development
