At the remaining 941 incidents, or 99.6%, the life safety hazard was exclusively to the firefighters.

What is an abandoned building?

An abandoned building is a property that has no legal occupants and is neglected with no efforts being made to preserve its value or condition.

What is a vacant building?

A vacant property is currently unoccupied with reasonable efforts being made by the owner to preserve the structures value and condition.
