What is this Kingdom of God?

Old Testament BOND. COVENANT an agreement GOD CHOSEN PEOPLE

Follow the commandments and you will be My people, I will be your God.

-never established because Chosen People disobeyed.

What is this Kingdom of God?

The Israelites have broken Gods covenant and have become unfaithful. God remains loving and faithful despite the chosen peoples unfaithfulness. The Israelites hoped for the time when God would send a Savior to Save them!

What is this Kingdom of God?

They are waiting for a king sent by God like Solomon, or Saul or David. They are waiting for the unification of the Chosen Race, the Holy Nation.

What is this Kingdom of God?

The Israelites in the Old Testament looked forward to a restored POLITICAL KINGDOM that God, their real King would establish through a Messiah.

JESUS HAS A DIFFERENT VIEW OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Its NOT a political Kingdom as what the early Jews thought Its NOT a specific geographical territory (NOT a country/place)

Its a condition of the peoples hearts, minds, wills, in which God rules.

THIS IS THE BETTER WORLD THAT JESUS HAD IN MIND.

What is this Kingdom of God?

It is when we, truly allow GOD to rule over every aspect of our life.
IN SHORT, THE HOLY LIFE.

The Kingdom of God is with us when

WHEN WE PUT GOD AS THE FIRST IN WHATEVER WE DO, EVERYTHING ELSE WILL FOLLOW.

Meaning

WHATEVER WE DO THEN WILL DEFINITELY CONTRIBUTE TO BUILDING A BETTER WORLD. ALL BECAUSE GOD REIGNS IN US. -a total commitment to fulfilling Gods will.
