Myanmar Chapter

Market Economy in Myanmar requires: A comprehensive order a social security system and a consistent legal framework An important element is macroeconomic stability. A key area is: education sector (especially in rural areas) After five decades of authoritarian regimes: Educators, school children and students are in a totally new situation. Equal opportunity for youth in all regions.

Myanmar Chapter

Also important is a concept for healthcare. All people should have the same right to access to a healthcare system. There is a need for labour market information centres and labour market reforms. One of the big problems is under employment. A system of social partnership (trained labour unions and employer organizations). There is a need of the protection of the environment.

Myanmar Chapter Myanmar is still in vicious cycle since Independence through socialism and dictatorship

More conflicts, more violence, more crimes, more demonstrations, more drugs and less Peace
