System Of Writing

The Roman or Latin alphabet is the alphabet used for many modern-day languages. It originated from the Greek alphabet and was first used to write Latin. Latin script, or Roman script, is a writing system based on the letters of the classical Latin alphabet and extended forms thereof. It is used as the standard method of writing most Western and Central European languages, as well as many languages from other parts of the world. Latin script is the basis for the largest number of alphabets of any writing system and is the most widely adopted writing system in the world.

System Of Government
The Roman Republic was the period of the ancient Roman civilization when the government operated as a republic. Roman society was hierarchical. The evolution of the Constitution of the Roman Republic was heavily influenced by the struggle between the patricians, Rome's land-holding aristocracy, who traced their ancestry back to the early history of the Roman kingdom, and the plebeians, the far more numerous citizen-commoners. Over time, the laws that gave patricians exclusive rights to Rome's highest offices were repealed or weakened, and leading plebeian families became full members of the aristocracy.

Religion
The religion of Ancient Rome was polytheistic in origin, in line with religious traditions in wider Iron Age Europe. From an early time, however, the Roman Republic was strongly influenced by Hellenistic Greece, and much of the recorded religion of pre-Christian Rome is a syncretism of indigenous with Hellenistic religion.

Skills, Crafts, and Arts

Ancient Egypt the most important artisans were the metal smiths who produced the bowls, vases, cups, statues and figurines, even the swords and daggers, one sees today in museums around the world.
The Roman COLOSSEUM OR COLISEUM, originally known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, was commisioned in AD 72 by Emperor Vespasian. It was completed by his son, Titus, in 80, with later improvements by Domitian.

The CAPITOLINE WOLF is a bronze sculpture of a she-wolf suckling twin infants, inspired by the legend of the founding of Rome.

Advanced knowledge
Roman technology is the engineering practice which supported Roman civilization and made the expansion of Roman commerce and Roman military possible for nearly a thousand years. The Roman Empire had one of the most advanced set of technologies of its time, some of which was lost during the turbulent eras of Late Antiquity and the early Middle Ages. Gradually, some of the technological feats of the Romans were rediscovered and/or improved upon, while others went ahead of what the Romans had done during the Middle Ages and the beginning of the Modern Era. Several Roman technological feats in different areas like civil engineering, construction materials, transport technology, and some inventions such as the mechanical reaper, were surprising achievements until the 19th century, and some, such as the arch, have remained untouched to this day. The Romans achieved high levels of technology in some part because they borrowed from and absorbed the culture of the established (hellenised, phoenician and others) people of the Mediterranean basin.
