As a property, leadership is the set of characteristics attributed to those who are perceived to use such influence successfully. As a process, leadership is the use of noncoercive influence to direct and coordinate the activities of group members to meet a goal.

and myth builders. All this can be accomplished only through means that are visible and tangible.
