BSc Advanced (Research) requirements


192 credit points (i.e. 24 units plus honours year) Maximum 60 points of level one units Maximum 24 points non-science electives Two 12 point level one sequences from the following: BIO1011 and BIO1022 or BIO1042 CHM1011 or CHM1051 and CHM1022 or CHM1052 ESC1011 and ESC1022 MTH1020 and MTH1030 (on request, the advanced version of these units may be completed), or MTH1030 and MTH2010, or STA1010 and MTH1030 PHS1011 and PHS1022, or PHS1080 and PHS1022

A level one maths/stats unit (STA1010, MTH1020 or MTH1030)

Must maintain high performance: An average >= 70% across 8 units in a calendar year Full-time enrolment Students who transfer out of the BSc. Adv. (Research) will be subject to the normal requirements of the course they move into

At least two science major sequences or a minor sequence plus a double major sequence in different areas of study The level-two core unit SCI2015 Scientific practice and communication One level three research project unit relevant to area of major study 48 points of Honours units

Enrolment Day
Come to Building 28, room G16 on 29 January 2014 at the time specified in your offer letter to have your enrolment checked by an Academic. You can then visit Monash Connect in building 10 (Campus Centre) to get your student ID card and to finalise your enrolment. For what to bring see step 6 of the online enrolment process. After your enrolment Student Services staff are experts at helping you pick your units and plan your course. We are here to help!
