Specify project scope statement (PSS). Interact with end users, gather information. Establish work standards

TIME LINE

ANALYSIS PHASE
The analysis phase defines the requirements of the system, independent of how these requirements will be accomplished. This phase defines the problem that the customer is trying to solve. The deliverable result at the end of this phase is a requirement document. Ideally, this document states in a clear and precise fashion what is to be built.

HARDWARE/SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
Hardware 1. CPU Pentium IV 2.66 GHZ

2. Hard Disc Capacity minimum 40 GB

3. Memory 256MB RAM Software

DESIGN PHASE
The primary objective of the design phase is to create a design that satisfies the agreed application requirements. In the design phase the SDLC process continues to move from the "what" questions of the analysis phase to the "how" questions. Proper design avoids delaying projects and increasing costs
