Ideally the promotion of unattainable superficial and damaging beauty would cease to exist
But the chances of that happening is very rare although from the previous video, steps are being taken by some brands. What we must do is not allow the definitions of beauty in the mainstream taint the way we view and value ourselves and like with all things. Islam offers a beautiful solution to the problem of beauty

Anas bin Malik (ra) says:

The Messenger of Allah, was not excessively tall or short. He was not very pale nor dark. He did not have curly hair or lank hair. ..There were not twenty white hairs in his hair or beard, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

The Prophet (PBUH) had a most handsome constitution. "Your smiling at your brother is an act of charity" (At-Tirmidhi). He was also reported to have said, "Do not underrate any good action, even if it is just meeting your brother with a cheerful countenance" (Muslim).

Prophet PBUH would - Wear nice clothes and perfume - Groom himself appropriately, not excessively, not extravagantly in a way that is compatible with the status and traditions of each delegation.

`A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reportedly said, "I used to apply to the Prophet the best scent available" (Muslim). He endorsed beauty in general as one of the things loved by Almighty Allah "Almighty Allah is beautiful and He loves beauty" (Sahih Muslim).

The Prophet PBUH reportedly said, "Gentleness is not to be found in anything

but that it adds to its beauty, and it is not withdrawn from anything but that it makes it defective" (Muslim)

He PBUH was tender and kind to all creation, children, animals, women, everyone, for e.g. It was the Prophets habit to substitute an unpleasant name with a more refined one. "When Allah had finished His creation, He wrote over his Throne: My Mercy predominates My Anger" (Al-Bukhari and Muslim). "O Allah! Bestow on me the gift of loving You, loving those who love You, and loving the deeds that bring me closer to Your love." (Al-Bukhari) But Allah has endeared the Faith to you and has made it beautiful in your hearts]}(Al-Hujurat 49:7).

Allahumma anta hassanta khalqee fahassin khuluqee

Allahumma aafini fee badani, Allahumma aafini fee samee, Allahumma aafini basaree. Laa ilaha illaaa anta.

O Allah, grant health in my body, O Allah, grant health in my hearing, O Allah, grant health in my sight. There is no god worthy of being worshipped except You.

Beauty Tips
1. Dont try and attain the unattainable standard of beauty that exists around us 2. Always smile , be well presented, be gentle and tender to all 3. Learn the supplications and prayers and make it part of your beauty regime 4. Always be grateful and expect wholeheartedly that Allah SWT will increase you

Beauty increases with the company you keep


The Prophet reminds us of the importance of good company in this hadith
.

A good friend and a bad friend are like a perfume-seller and a blacksmith: The perfume-seller might give you some perfume as a gift, or you might buy some from him, or at least you might smell its fragrance. As for the blacksmith, he might singe your clothes, and at the very least you will breathe in the fumes of the furnace. [Bukhari, Muslim]

How can you make someone else feel beautiful?

Purity belongs to You. O Allah (SWT), with Your praises, I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except You. I seek forgiveness from You and I repent to You. (Tirmidhi)
