PREFERENCE BRETWEEN TRADITIONAL MEDICINE AND OVER-THE-COUNTER DRUGS IN CURING HUMAN COMMON ILLNESS OF ILOCANOS IN BRGY.

Objectives Of The Study

The study aims to know the preference of Ilocanos between Traditional Medicines and Over-The-Counter drugs in Brgy. Osias, Kabacan, North Cotabato.

It ensures to answer the following questions: What is the socio-demographic profile of the respondents? What is the preference of Ilocanos in Brgy. Osias, Kabacan, Cotabato between traditional medicine and over-the-counter drugs

Objectives Of The Study


What is the reason behind about their preference between traditional medicine and over-the-counter drugs? What are the therapeutic approaches in treating or curing my sick family member? What are the perception of Ilocanos about health and wellness? What are the disadvantage and advantage of using OTC or traditional medicine?

Significance Of The Study


This study is important in the selected Ilocanos in Brgy. Osias, Kabacan, Cotabato. This may help them to think about their preference between traditional medicine and over-the-counter drugs in this post-modernism day. Through this they will know about the therapeutic approach in treating or curing their family members illness. This may help them to evaluate themselves if they are treating or curing an illness therapeutically.

Significance Of The Study


The study is important for the respondents in order them to brought them to plan strategies to boost up their strategies in treating or curing their family member who s sick. This may also help them to aim more or to have that encore effect to enhance their selves in promoting health and wellness.

Scope and Limitation


The study was focused on determining the preference of Ilocanos in Brgy. Osias, Kabacan, Cotabato. The respondents were from the 6 puroks of the said barangay namely Purok uno, Purok dos, Purok tres, Purok kwatro, Purok singko, and Purok sais. The study is limited to the fifty (50) respondents in all puroks in the said barangay in Kabaca, North Cotabato. The study is conducted in the Brgy.Osias, Kabacan, North Cotabato; February 2014.

Scope and Limitation


The study was focused on determining the preference of Ilocanos in Brgy. Osias, Kabacan, Cotabato. The respondents were from the 6 puroks of the said barangay namely Purok uno, Purok dos, Purok tres, Purok kwatro, Purok singko, and Purok sais. The study is limited to the fifty (50) respondents in all puroks in the said barangay in Kabaca, North Cotabato. The study is conducted in the Brgy.Osias, Kabacan, North Cotabato; February 2014.
