To study and analyze Indian mobile market especially in urban area. To know about the mobile interface and knowledge of the urban Indian population. To study how the SRT device and other function will help Indian mass in making mobile interface easier for them, will they go for purchase of SRT enabled device/online software. Can SRT enabled device and other functions generate revenue for the company.

Questionnaire Method: with open-ended and close-ended questions. Sample to be collected from urban areas through mall intercepts and particular market visit. Direct interaction with urban population. Sample Size -100 Data under consideration of this study-70 Area Visited for data collection- NCR: Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad.

44% respondents lie between 15-25 year. 36% respondents are above 26-35 year age. Mean age of whole sample is 29 year.

Sample is evenly distributed occupation wise.

Majority of sample (80%) have education graduation & above. Only 20% have education below/equal Intermediate.

Majority of sample (59%) are using mobile since 5 Years or more. Only 6% own mobile since less than 2 Years.

30% of the respondents change mobile within a year. 34% of the respondents change mobile only after failure/lost. Those who are using mobile more than 5 year, 42% of them change it within a year.

Calling feature is heavily used by the respondents. Likewise SMS and Reminders too are fairly used by the respondents. Still 44% of the respondents dont use other features/functions of their mobile.

Majority of sample (63%) have NOKIA brand mobile.

Majority of respondents (63%) look for functions in mobile followed by price.

Majority of respondents (96%) use mobile in Hindi mode.

Majority of respondents (54%) type SMS is English followed by 30% Hinglish.

Majority of respondents (84%) has rated this technology Good or Excellent.

Majority of respondents (87%) are interested in using this technology.

Majority of respondents (64%) will go for new purchase of the device enabled with SRT.

The extra price which whole respondent can pay for the purchase of SRT enabled device is INR 1600. The price which whole respondent can pay for the purchase of SRT enabling software is INR 675. There is not much difference in tentative price told by the respondents either age-wise or occupation wise. The respondents who are not interested in technology to purchase online/new mobile, out of them in 45% case there was demo failure. In case of non-failure of demo the respondents who are not interested in technology, 75% of them are above 35 year age. In 20% of the case during interview their was demofailure.
