Ashes

Ashes to beauty, I cant see, The voices of demons blinding me, Mirror, mirror on the wall cracking, breaking As I have the gall to peer inside your shattered truth Lights out, lights out I must feel safe, Fading into the shadows from whenst I came, My calmness to claim. I cry, I pray, I scream at them But no solace for me Why? Only a dream, only a dream Hope, hope, grasping at hope Lights on one day, A thought away, a thought away
