ABSTRACT
The main aim of this project is to design the ATM terminal, based on the fingerprint recognition. The purpose of this project is to increase the security that customer use the ATM machine. Once users bank card is lost and the password is stolen, the criminal will draw all cash in the shortest time, which will bring enormous financial losses to customer, so to rectify this problem we are implementing this project.
OBJECTIVE
Personal identification numbers, which are easy to
implement but they are susceptible to attack, by using biometric devices is an alternative to the same. The fingerprint is a promising biometric pattern for personal identification in terms of its security and convenience. Biometric system need to be cost-efficient and easy to implement. By using finger authentication to a single user or relatives of the parent user based on the type of account they have selected with the concerned bank.
EXISTING SYSTEM
The existing ATM terminal customer recognition systems only rely on bank cards, passwords and such verification methods which measures are not perfect and functions are too single.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
For solving the bugs of existing system, an enhancement algorithm of fingerprint image increase the security that customer use the ATM machine.

MFS100 is high quality USB fingerprint sensor for fingerprint authentication for desktop or network security. MFS100 is based on optical sensing technology which efficiently recognize poor quality fingerprint also. MFS100 can be used for authentication, identification and verification functions that let your fingerprint act like digital passwords that cannot be lost, forgotten or stolen. Hear optical sensor is resistant to scratches, impact, vibration and electrostatic shock
