Question 3 Focus
Question 3 asks you to identify the viewpoints of the writer, the tone the writing is presented in and the language choices the writer makes to convey them. It is not concerned about the effects on the reader. It also asks you to look structurally at how the ideas are developed throughout the text to convey an overall viewpoint.
