HISTORY OF STATE BANK OF INDIA


Bank of Bangal, bank of Bombey and Bank of Madras were amalgamated to form the Imperial Bank of India, on 27 January 1921. The All India Rural Credit Survey Committee proposed the takeover of the Imperial Bank of India, and integrating with it, the former stateowned or state-associate banks. Subsequently, an Act was passed in the Parliament of India in May 1955. As a result, the State Bank of India (SBI) was established on 1 July 1955.

RESEARCH OBJECTIVE
My Research objective is to find out the various scope of agriculture investment credit in Kheda District for State Bank of India. To find out the financial requirement of farmer for agriculture purpose. To know the problem after financing by banks.

Also to find out why farmers are not take advantage of govt.s subsidies & facilities

RESESRCH METHODOLOGY
The research design used in the study is exploratory design. The sources of data used in this study are primary and secondary data.

Using survey method for collecting Data.


Sample size for research is 25 samples from each taluka. For the research quota sampling method is used. Data collection is on convenience based method.

RESULTS AND FINDINGS


On the basis of this survey we found that most of male people are related to farming In the kheda district most of the farmer having a 1 to 10 VIGA land The education level of farmer is not so much good The farmers are not only do farming but also do milk production business In kheda district most of PATEL people are having more land as compare to other The average income of farmers is rupees 485220 Most of the farmers are taking two production seasons For irrigation farmers are based on rain and tube vale and out of them most of farmers have tub vale irrigation The farmers are attending a agriculture programmed and take knowledge about agriculture changes but not taking advantage of knowledge

Limitations
The time constrain would be the limitation of this study
I have take only 250 sample for doing study

It is very difficult to convey for fill the questioner


The language constrain would be a main limitation of the study so I made questioner in Gujarati language
