The significance of building
teacher-student relationship
Showing interest and caring for the students will create
a trusting and genuine bond with them and in most cases they
will reciprocate, establishing a win-win situation for both
student and teacher.
Establishing trust and bond with the students can enhance the
relationships with students and affect the strength of the
parent teacher communication.
To keep the students motivated and challenged so that they
will not easily lose interest.
To achieve all the objectives of T&L.

To improve classroom management and discipline and
creating a respectful and positive classroom environment.
To encourage students to think for themselves, contribute to
class discussions and build their self confidence and self
esteem.
When the students and teacher are "connecting" emotionally,
the students will be motivated to participate actively in their
education.
Having good discussion shows that the students are valued
and respected enough to make their own decisions.
The more the teacher connects or communicates with his or
her students, the more likely they will be able to help students
learn at a high level and accomplish quickly.
