INTRODUCTION
1. Purpose.
This system is a secure system that enables you to
register for courses and access student information
over the Internet. Students be able to drop courses,
update address, phone and email information, and
browse for course availability. They will also be
able to send the course evaluations on various
courses.
2. Scope.

Adding student information, updating student
information, deleting student information, and
viewing student information. It also provides with
advanced search facilities and facilities to create
authorized users with passwords and also for
changing their passwords at some later stage.
3. Technologies to be used.

This project will be a web application to be
developed in php scripting language having mysql
database as back end.
Database Design (Mysql database)
Form Design (html language)
Coding (php scripting language)
Reporting Tool (Data Report)

PROBLEM STATEMENT.

The problems we faced are:
Difficulty to find and verify student's file.
Loss time.
There is a storage limit.
Missed some files.
Privacy and security are missed.
Processing your work takes long time.
Difficulty to communicate between students
and the administrators.
Manual processing is not offering query
system that we can found in the computer based
system nowadays.
No user friendly interface like computerized
tracking, as users are using the simple spreadsheet

Student registration system can cut down these
entire problems by providing us its solution.
It can give us:
Easy to use, retrieve, and manipulate.
Ease to save, there is high storage.
Easy to communicate between the
administrators and students.
Easy to add and edit your information.
You can make your work in limit time.
No more papers and files.
More security and privacy.
Low cost.
Time reduced.

SYSTEM OBJECTIVES.
Allow students to register and deregister for
classes, print their timetables and to obtain reports
on their status.

Allow the administrators at the registration
office to obtain student status report, to enter
student grades, and to maintain information about
students, update student records, courses and
registrations.

To prevent data from lost backup facilities.
To reduce the repetition task and
redundancy information.

PROJECT SCOPE
The elements of the system should consist of:
Registration module This module takes care
of students registration at the beginning of the
semester. It records the students personal
information. It also handles the course registration
for the students. For returning students, it shows
the list of previously failed course for registration.
Edit module- This module allows the already
entered data about students to be modified in case
of errors or updates.
Report module- This module takes care of
generating the following reports.
List of registered student.
List of students offering a particular course.
List of students score, grade point and the
GPA.
List of student that fail or pass certain course.

SYSTEM USERS
Students and administrators. They use it in
universities, colleges, and schools.

1. Students can use the system to:
select courses
view the courses offered
print their timetables
Send remarks and evaluations to the teachers
about the courses.
Edit their profiles
2. Administrators can use these functions for a
selected student and also:

Update student records.
Change system dates.
Print class lists.
Add courses.
Edit courses.
Edit their profiles.
Edit students profiles

3. Instructors/Teacher can do the following;

Edit their profiles.
View the schedules for classes
View the remarks and evaluations from the
students about the courses.
View the list of students in a particular
course.
Take students attendance
View students attendance.

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
Pentium 2 motherboard with 300MHz
processor or equivalent.
64 MB extended memory.
20MB free hard disk space.
32x CD-ROM drive for installation purpose.
Printer for output (results and transcripts)
generation.
Optical Mouse or compatible pointing
device.

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS.

Php scripting language.
Mysql Database.

proposal according to its workability, impact of the
organization, ability to meet needs and effective
use of the resources

CONCLUSION

This software development main focus is on
tracking. The development of the software must
help the family financial to solve their daily
routines problems. It should provide a software
that is easy to use and user friendly to the user so
that it can be used efficiently.
