EMPLOYEE WELFARE MEASURES:
DEFINITION : Employee welfare means anything done for the comfort and improvement of the employees and is provided over and above the salaries. According to Todd MEANING : Employee welfare is a term including various services, benefits and facilities offered to employees by the employers. The welfare measures need not be monetary but in any kind/forms. This includes items such as allowances, housing, transportation, medical insurance and food.
OBJECTIVES To know the welfare activities practiced in the organization. To ascertain employees satisfaction level of welfare measures at M.G. Brothers. To analyze the employees opinion regarding welfare facilities provided by the organization. To find out the areas of dissatisfaction in any, and to suggest remedial measures. To study and analyze different safety and health facilities, fringe benefits provided by the company. To study how far employee are utilizing these welfare facilities. To study and analyze the different welfare measures/ schemas provided by the company.
RESEARCH METHDOLOGY DATA COLLECTION METHOD : PRIMARY SOURCE OF DATA & SECONDARY SOURCE OF DATA RESEARCH INSTRUMENT: IN THIS PROJECT, THE DATA WERE COLLECTED THROUGH STRUCTURED QUESTIONNAIRE. TOOLS FOR ANALYSIS THE TOOL USED FOR ANALYSIS IS PERCENTAGE ANALYSIS. PERCENTAGE ANALYSIS PERCENTAGE = NUMBER OF RESPONDENTS X 100 TOTAL RESPONDENTS POPULATION SIZE : TOTAL NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES : 150 SAMPLE SIZE : SAMPLE SIZE IS 100. AMONG THEM 20 MEMBERS WERE NOT INTERESTED TO GIVE THE RESPONSE. SO SAMPLE SIZE WAS JUSTIFIED TO 80. SAMPLING METHOD : RANDOM SAMPLING TECHNIQUE IS USED FOR THIS STUDY

It implies that more number of employees satisfied with working conditions and safety measures. The company should take care in improving canteen facilities.
The management should try to establish a school for the education of the employees Children. This increases the morale of employees.
The management should maintain concealed electrical wiring in premises.
The management should conduct awareness program on fire extinguishers to security as well as employees.
There is a chance for some minor accidents. The company should provide Personal safety appliances like goggles, gloves wherever required.
CONCLUSION M.G. Brothers is providing better working condition for employees and taking at most care in providing welfare facilities. After through observation and analysis I would like to conclude that the company is having overall perfect implementation of welfare measures. Except in some few aspects i.e., canteen facilities, medical facilities and some other non-statutory welfare activities
