COMMAND CORPS AND National HQ SERVES Departments Training Departments Demo & Support Departments International & Public Relation Departments ADMIN Departments ORGANIZATION The numeric strength of the Cadets in Ghana has grown steadily over the years to Nine thousand (9000) Cadets Between the ages of Twelve (12) to twenty eight (28) years that is to say Students from the Junior, Senior and Tertiary Institutions of Which the Naval Cadet Corps forms only 20% due to typical facts of lack of logistics and strong support. THE COMPOSITION OF THE NATIONAL CADET CORPS GHANA
The Cadet Corps exist in Educational institutions across the ten (10) Regions of the Country with Training support from the Ministry of Defence (Army, Navy, Air Force) and other agencies that have a affiliations with the Cadet Corps. THE NAVAL CADET CORPS GHANA The Naval Cadet Corps is a cross section of the National Cadet Corps Ghana. It is the smallest among all three arms of service in the cadet corps. The Naval Cadet Corps has it mother in the Ghana Armed Forces which is the Ghana Navy. The Ghana Navy over the years has rended thier maximum support to the Naval CadetCorps in Ghana but due to insufficient logistics and accomodation in the Ghana Navy now support for logistics and accomodation for cadets THE NAVAL CADET CORPS GHANA NATIONAL CADET LEADERSHIP TRAINING CAMP
THE NATIONAL CADET LEADERSHIP TRAINING CAMP (NLTC) This is a camp where we bring together all our cadets in the country together for basic Leadership Training normally during Long Vacations in a Jungle. Last years programme was from the 10 th to the 19 th August 2006.
During this Camp we have a total of about 1,000 Cadets from all the various Arms of service. THE NATIONAL CADET CO-ORDINATOR AND HIS TEAM CALLING ON CHIEFS AND ELDERS OF AGOGO (NLTC 2006) CHALLENGES AND FUTURE PLANS 1. Provision of standard accommodation and logistic for the Naval Cadets throughout the country. 2. The establishment of a Gliding Training School for the cadet 3.
