LOCATION OF GHANA ON THE WORLD MAP THE FLAG OF GHANA The National Cadet Corps Ghana is an amalgamation of; The Army Cadet Corps. The Navy Cadet Corps. The Air Force Cadet Corps. The Police Cadet Corps. The Fire Cadet Corps. The numeric strength of the Cadets in Ghana is about Eight thousands (8000) cadets and adult staffs from Basic, Secondary and Tertiary education in the country. The Cadet Corps exist in Educational institution across the ten (10) Regions of the Country with Training support from the Ministry of Defence and other agencies that have a Cadet Corps. THE NATIONAL CADET LEADERSHIP TRAINING CAMP (NLTC) This is a camp where we bring together all our cadets in the country together for basic Leadership Training normally during Long Vacations at sea and in a Jungle. This year it was from the 10 th to the 19 th
August 2006.
During this Camp we have a total of not less than 1,000 Cadets from all the various Arms of service. SEA TRAINING THIS IS THREE DAY EXCERCISE (CAMP) AIMED AT IMCULCATING IN THE NAVAL CADET SENSE OF THE BASIC TRAINIG KNOT TYING, PHYSICAL TRAINING, DRILLS, PARTS OF THE SHIP, SHIP TEAMS AND MANY MORE. OVER FIFTY CADETS PATICIPATED IN THIS TRAINING AT A GO IN THE TWO NAVAL BASES IN GHANA DEPENDING ON THE AVAILABILITY OF VESSELS FOR THE PURPOSE
1. To build a long standing relations with member countries. 2. To participate fully in all ISCA events. 3. To sustain a vibrant maritime based youth organisation.
