He shall be observant of school children who are not in the classes during the proper hours and after making inquiries as the reasons thereof shall take appropriate action on any case of truancy which may come to his notice.
w. He shall take note of all obstruction in the streets or sidewalks from which accidents may occur, removing them when practicable. He shall also take appropriate action on all nuisances and other matters affecting the safety and convenience of the public or the interest of the city or municipality.

He shall endeavor to be familiar with the bus lines, the location of streets, public buildings and offices, hospitals, courts, transportation offices and depots, industrial plants, highways and boundaries thereof and of the national, provincial and municipal officials and such other matters pertaining to the government of the city or municipal as will enable him to render intelligent and helpful information and assistance when requested. 4. He shall familiarize himself with the concept of Police Beat and Detective Beat System. 5. He shall perform such other duties and responsibilities that maybe assigned to him by superior officer or higher authority. 6. He shall observe Human Rights as a high standard that must be maintained during the performance of police duties. 7. He shall observe the right of a person under custodial investigation by informing his right to be informed by his rights to remain silent and to have competent and independent counsel preferably of his own choice. If the person cannot afford the services of counsel, he must be provided with one. These rights cannot be waived except in writing and in the presence of counsel (Miranda Doctrine).
