The document discusses seven types of waste that can occur in construction projects: material waste, time waste, quality issues, cost overruns, deforestation, legal problems, and transportation/logistical issues. Material waste can happen due to unskilled workers or theft. Time waste is a major factor, as delays increase costs and impact budgets. Quality issues may arise from inexperienced workers. Legal problems like poorly drafted contracts can lead to project delays and confusion. Transportation of equipment and materials to remote job sites also contributes to time and cost overruns. Addressing these seven wastes can help construction projects be completed more efficiently and effectively.

Bad utilization of something, so this not only refers in
material could also is referring to the time or the people. In the construction can be say 7 big wastes: Material Time Quality Cost Deforestation Legal Problems Transportation
The 7 wastes at construction In the constructions many times presents wastes, between it can be mention wood, steel, concrete, etc. A lot of material is usually wasted by the lack of prefessionalism of the staff and not being trained properly, but at the same time can also happen that the people could steal the material in the work. The time in every type of project also constructions is a very important factor because some times this impact most. Every construction depends of the capital but sometimes when something its not concluded in the right period it becomes a problem because the money should come from the pocket of the engineer. A huge problem with the time in works have repercussions because this makes the people dont work but it doesn't matter if they do the job or not, they also have to receive the pay in time. Talking about constructions this migth be the most important factor, and the worst waste. In every construction ever is need a high or acceptable quality, but not always this can occur and is the impact of the inexperience of the personnel; however its the effect of the time, having sometimes incentives if they build faster they recieve more money. Quality Here in Guatemala this is the most importat thing in the head, of every engineer so for this reason cost is a waste, because the cost is everywhere doing any work, passing time, buying o using materials, also the money itself . This can be take as a waste because this have an action in everything for example if someone dont have the enough money to carry out a project cant be done, the right materials cant be used, so this characteristic makes imposible to work so makes a waste in any aspect. Deforestation is driven by several causes, most of which originate outside the forestry sector. Deforestation is the product of the interaction of many ecological, social, economic, cultural and political forces in a given region. Many forest has been cleared for the construction of roads, settlements, utilities, electricity transmission networks, pipelines, hydroelectric dams and other infrastructure. For indirect effects, building roads is the largest contributor to deforestation, has an immediate (deforestation) and delayed impact (erosion, landslides). Productive infrastructure such as hydroelectric dams, tourist and industrial complexes, and the expansion of urban areas cause the total elimination of forest cover. So for conlussion deforestation isnt a direct waste of construction but is a waste of the Earths surface, and this makes it important to attend. Between the legal documents, include governmental regulations on the use of property, and obligations that are created in the construction process.
Some legal requirements come from considerations in itself, or the desire to prevent things that are indisputably bad (contracts). A construction project is a complex net of contracts and other legal obligations, each of which must be carefully considered.
In contracts clear expectations and clear paths for establishing compliance is much more likely that the project flowing smoothly, whereas poorly drafted contracts can lead to confusion and collapse. This type of confusion makes impossible to continue with a project so makes it difficult to continue making it lose a lot of time waiting for a resolution (waste of time).
The distance has become a big problem of waste, the towns are well hidden which only makes the arrival a labor, but this in turn may affect the equipment or machinery cant reach the place work that makes it all come to miss more time of the project to reach the place and to get out, than what they really works.
