Hose reel
Fire hose reels are located to provide a reasonably accessible and controlled supply
of water to combat a potential fire risk. The length of a fully extended fire hose is
between 18 and 36 meters with a diameter of 13 or 19mm Internal Diameter. These
appliances are designed to deliver, as a minimum, 0.33ltrs of water per second. A
control nozzle attached to the end of the hose enables the operator to control the
direction and flow of water to the fire. All fire hose reels come with a unique ball or
gate valve shut off device, a plastic or solid brass hose reel nozzle, and mounting
bracket.
Fire hose reels located in buildings are to be used by building occupants to fight fire,
especially when they are trapped and cannot escape to an emergency EXIT.
Fire extinguisher
A fire extinguisher is an active fire protection device used to extinguish or
control a fire, often in emergency situations. Typically, a fire extinguisher
consists of a handheld cylindrical pressure vessel containing an agent which
can be discharged to extinguish a fire.
Fire alarm
A fire alarm system is an electronic device designed to alert people from
visual and audio alarms when smoke/fire is present. These alarms may be
activated from smoke detectors, heat detectors, or from a fire alarm pull
station.
Main switch
The main switch fuse box is there to help prevent electrical fires. If you
overload a circuit, and it tries to draw more current than the wire is supposed
to have, it will pop the fuse, causing an open circuit, and electricity stops
flowing. The main switch allows you to disconnect all electricity coming into
the home.

Otherwise, the current would heat the wire to the point where it would
burn/melt the insulation, then the bare wires would start the house on fire.
Not fun if left unattended.
PROCEDURE OF EVACUATION
Fire alarm will ring non-stop to show the situation
Take the evacuation in a calm orderly manner, leaving all personal belonging behind.
Those sitting near window has to make sure that the window are closed before
leaving the building.
All students and staff will go to assembly point and lined up according to group
that have been fixed during the fire drill practiced.
The exit route to be used are the main entrance or the main path to the building and
classes.
No running are permitted in order to avoid panic situation
Anyone who are not in the building area during the evacuation must go to
assembly point.
A roll call should be conducted at the assembly point.
Staff and students have to wait at the assembly point until fire officer
confirm the building are safe to enter.
