I NTRODUCTI ON
The automotive industry in India is one of the largest automotive
markets in the world
India's passenger car and commercial vehicle manufacturing
industry is the sixth largest in the world
The majority of India's car manufacturing industry is based around
three clusters in the south, west and north.
The southern cluster consisting of Chennai is the biggest with 35%
of the revenue share.
The western hub near Mumbai and Pune contributes to 33% of the
market.
the northern cluster around the National Capital Region contributes
32%.


BACKGROUND OF TATA MOTORS



Tata Motors Limited (formerly TELCO), is
Indian multinational automotive manufacturing
company and a subsidiary of the Tata Group
Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company,
with consolidated revenues of Rs1,88,818 crore
(USD 34.7 billion) in 2012-13.
Total expenditure reported is 19.21 crores which is
6.36% of the Companys PAT excluding spend on
Environment Sustainability (about 36.22 crores).

BACKGROUND OF FORD INDIA

BMW India Pvt Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary
of the BMW Group founded in 2006, with
headquarters in Gurgaon, Haryana.
BMW India has its own manufacturing facility
at Chennai.

Manufacturers (Siam), BMW India registered
growth of 12.76% at 1,016 units from April-July

Skoda Auto India Private Limited has been operating

Shendra near Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The facility is
spread across 300,000 sq. mt.
Auto India has a network of 106 outlets across the country.
