The teacher uses understanding of individual differences and diverse
cultures and communities to ensure inclusive learning environments
that enable each learner to meet high standards.
Name of Artifact: Bullying In Schools
Date: April 9, 2013
Course: Education 101
Brief Description: For this assignment, I will describe my initial
observations about bullying in schools today. I will describe what
bullying is and evaluate my take on the pros and cons of bullying
based on a law that is trying to be instated. Given this standard, I
gained understanding that there is diversity in cultures and that
everyone individual is different.
Rationale: To document Standard #2, Learning Differences, I
included the idea of diversity in cultures, every individual is
different, community, and higher learning for students. This
assignment allowed me to learn that every student, no matter what
race or background is different and that diversity may cause children
to lash out in schools.
